One-day Reindeer Safari

We will harness reindeer together with the guide. During the harnessing, you will have a chance to get to know your reindeer personally. The guide shows you how to steer the reindeer. Then – just sit down and make yourself comfortable in the sleigh – and off you go! You will follow the guide.

Our route of 14-18 kilometres passes through a snowy forest, around icy islets of marshland.

We will have breaks during the day; Doing ice fishing, making a nice Lappish picnic by an open fire, feeding reindeer….

The red flames of the open fire in the midst of the forest make you feel warm and create a cosy atmosphere. In picnic, we will grill sausages, eat sandwiches and make coffee, tea and hot chocolate, which we will drink from traditional Kuksa mugs.

 After trip - At the main building, you will be awarded a Reindeer Riding Licence.
